Necessary Evil August 31, 2010 Wendi G. Schrock This is a must have to keep ur coffee at it's best. Expensive but I only have to replace it about every 6-10 weeks depending on how much I use my Jura.
Jura filters August 27, 2010 cjd This is one of the few places I can find the filters for my coffee maker. I am so grateful that you have them and I always recieve them in great condition and promptly. Thank you
Clearyl water filter July 21, 2010 Roland Does a good job of filtering the water before it goes into the expresso maching. The water reservoir remains clean, as well.
Another option June 11, 2010 Elbereth This item is billed as removing 75% of calcium and other components of hard water. Hmmm. . .wonder what else does this? I've been skipping the filter in my old Capresso coffee machine for 10 years and using water from my Brita filter pitcher. Considerably less expensive, and I always have some in my refrigerator. I've had some concerns that a small amount of calcium might slip through, so I decalcify using Durgol once a year. I've never had a problem with my machine. However, I only drink about 6 cups of coffee a week--if you use your machine more, you might want to decalcify more often. Still, a much cheaper carbon filter alternative.
Jura Water Filter April 19, 2010 J. Anderson (Salem, OR) Gave this item five stars because you gotta love it or leave it. There is no alternative. This is the only filter that fits my Jura-Capresso coffee machine, so I have to love it. It is an expensive item which drives the overall cost of making coffee with a Jura up. I can buy this item locally, but found it to be less expensive through Amazon.
